BACKGROUND
A review of manufacturing records revealed that certain vehicles originally included in the Driver’s Frontal Airbag Inflator (NADI) Safety Recall were NOT originally equipped with a driver’s frontal airbag module that contained the recalled inflator. This resulted in the removal of approximately 16,000 Honda vehicles from the recall. Vehicles that have been removed from the recall will show a completed campaign 6NA00 with a link to this service bulletin in the iN VIN status even though the vehicle was not brought into a dealer.
A notification will be sent to these customers advising them on this situation.
