Summary

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-59 vehicles. The bolt that secures the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear box may be improperly tightened, which could result in separation of the intermediate steering shaft from the steering gear box.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect the intermediate shaft bolt, replacing it if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 28, 2022. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 22S13.
