REASON FOR THIS SAFETY RECALL

Some of the above vehicles may have been built an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve that may become stuck in the open position. An EGR valve that becomes stuck open may cause an unexpected loss of motive power during low load conditions. An unexpected loss of motive power can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.
